Samual Weinberg
Samuel Weinberg received his BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and currently lives and works in St. Paul, Minnessota, USA.
He has shown his work extensively in the USA, including seven solo shows in the last eight years, and has had solo shows in Taiwan, New York City and New Jersey at Fogstand Gallery, Thierry Goldberg Gallery’s Project Room and Detour Gallery, respectively. In 2015/16 he was awarded a Jerome Fellowship, which culminated in a fellowship show at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and was a 2017 recipient of a Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant. Weinberg is currently a 2021 recipient of a Minnesota State Arts Board Creative Support for Individuals Grant, which he was awarded to fund the making of a graphic novel about the characters in his work.
